COOKING CLASSES
It gives me great pleasure to pass on the teachings of my mother from her kitchen.
The basic ingredients for lebanese cuisine are garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. Many dishes can be made from just these three key ingredients.
Learn to cook with fresh vegetables like red peppers, eggplant, green beans, and zucchini, which the okanagan graciously offers, or chick pea, lentil and rice dishes. Let's not forget the BBQ with Kabobs or lemon chicken.
Classes are limited to 6-8 participants in the class location. Recipes for all dishes are provided. Cooking classes are a great way to celebrate special occasions. Classes can be set in your home for you and your friends, or in a class location.

Required: Healthy appetite and smiles and laughter. Any special ingredients to make some of the dishes will be available for purchase at the cooking class.
Stuffed Marrow(zucchini) and stuffed grape leaves.
For this class you will be given a special tool to core the marrow, stuff the marrow and then learn how to cook the excess core from the marrow. We will also make stuffed grape leaves followed by a demonstration of fatoush (delicious pita salads) and hummus. All these dishes are made without meat.
Elegant Eggplant and Gorgeous Green Beans
I will demonstrate a lovely eggplant and veggie stew, baba ghanoush (eggplant dip), nourishing green bean and chic pea stew, rice pilaff, tomato cucumber salad ….. all meatless dishes and excellent dishes for anyone doing a cleanse.
Soups and Pita Hamburger
This class will demonstrate nutritious lentil and spinach soup, lentil and rice pottage, and a side kick of fast and easy pita hamburgers with yogurt and cucumber salad.
Holiday Appetizers
Tis' the season and you will be a hit when your table is dressed with the famous trio dips of hummus, baba ghanoush (eggplant dip), muhammara(roasted red pepper and walnut dip), along with mediterranean brie, meat filled phyllo fingers, seasoned almonds, zartar toasted pita.
